HOW TO TAKE PERFECT SUNSET PHOTOGRAPHY!!!

“It is a delight to the eyes when we view the sunset in the sky and it is even better when we capture that serenity into our memories”

1.UNDEREXPOSE
This is the foremost tip to be taken care of while taking pictures in the sunset. It helps in creating color look rich and defined.

2.FIND THE FOREGROUND FIRST
Find the foreground first. The best solution for a good sunset is some object of interest in the foreground. It could be a pond, a pier, or whatever else. Just find something interesting to put in the foreground to add depth to the scene.

3.CONSIDER CONTRAST
Always focus on shooting panoramas or vertorama to contrast the sunset colors with the other colors of the sky.

4.APERTURE
Before the sun gets to its place, adjust your lens’s aperture to a high value such as f/22. The rays of the sun will look more clear and beautiful due to this adjustment. It will help to give the picture a mesmerizing effect.

5.BEST SUNSET PHOTOGRAPH
What could be a better day than a rainy one, to take the snap of a sunset?
When the clouds break up at all around sunset, take out your camera and head out to capture the serenity. Just trust me on this one you will get the perfect click.

6.FLASH
Always use little flash if you’re shooting a portrait of someone standing in front of a sunset or else their face will look dark and your picture won’t be appealing.

7.HOW TO CREATE INTEREST
Try to capture the birds in your snap! Including a few flying birds in the sky can really add a zeal in your landscape.

8.USE TELEPHOTO LENS
If you want the sun to appear huge in the sunset, using a telephoto lens will be the solution and if you want it to appear small then, using a wide-angle lens will be appropriate.

9.CLEANSING Of YOUR LENS & SENSOR
Cleansing of lens and sensor is very crucial! When they are not cleaned up, dust spots will appear when you’re stopped down to high aperture values.

10.WATCH FOR REFLECTION
Always look for ways you can reflect the sunset colors, which makes it more attractive like you had more of a sunset than in reality.
